Automotive Stamping Die Details
The main component of automotive molds is the cover mold. These types of molds are mainly cold stamping molds. In a broad sense, "automobile molds" are the general term for molds used to manufacture all parts of automobiles. For example, stamping molds, injection molds, forging molds, casting wax molds, glass molds, etc.
The stamping parts on the car body are generally divided into cover parts, beam frame parts, and general stamping parts. The stamping parts that can clearly represent the image characteristics of a car are the automotive cover parts. Therefore, a more specific automotive mold can be referred to as a "stamping mold for automotive panels". Referred to as the stamping die for automotive panels. For example, the front door outer panel trimming die, the front door inner panel punching die, etc. Of course, there are not only stamping parts on the body of the car. All molds for stamping parts on cars are called "automotive stamping molds".
The stamping parts of the vehicle body are generally divided into three categories, namely Class A parts, Class B parts, and Class C parts
A: mainly refers to external covering parts and large internal panels, such as doors, side walls, top covers, door inner panels, etc
B: mainly refers to beam components and other structural components on the vehicle body, such as A-pillars, B-pillars, side wall crossbeams, etc
C: mainly refers to parts with relatively small size and relatively simple structure, such as door hinges, brackets, etc
